A roundup of what happened to the other ships in the first generation of Constitution-class starships.


It's always nice to see lore from the early novels. I was especially surprised to hear events from the novel Federation mentioned. What surprised me is the lack of mention of USS Yorktown, firmly established in canon in "Obsession" and later to gain notoriety in the novel Crossover. After all, Scotty stole it from the fleet museum (complete with the original Enterprise bridge module that was removed during the refit) and operated it via remote control from the shuttle the E-D gave him (originally the Goddard, renamed by Scotty to the Romaine)
