For the record, that second webcomic isn't obscure around here. It's a side project of Nan, a.k.a. Nan the Mysterious Romulan, a.k.a. winterbourne, a.k.a. The Ensign, a.k.a... well, you get the picture. (I could go on a while, though. I've known her through about 50 names.) She still does the NINJA! thing at the slightest provocation, and Sa'ar and I are still expected to give the proper response.
In other news, how did I not know there was a Ninja Day? I'll have to do something. After all, I'm not just a ninja, I'm ten ninjas.
