Time for another Smallville fiver! Today we have "Recruit," in which Clark takes up football, possibly as a nod to John Byrne's 1985 stories that reworked Superman's origin. Hey, if Superman plays football, does that make him the Man of Iron -- gridiron, that is?


By the way, the Fiver By Committee is almost done -- all of the final five blocks are available to be voted on. So where is everybody?
