I just feel like posting in this thread. How's it going in here?

BTW, Gatac, as you live in Germany, and I hope to be travelling there sometime in the near future...and good, not-so-well-known theatrical/movie/art places to go? Or any good places to see, things to look at, etc? :?:

Depends. Where do you plan to go, exactly? Germany, despite all reports to the contrary, is a big country.

Oh, I know Germany is big. It might only be half the size of BC, but it has twenty times the population, so twenty times the historical/artistic places to go. (that's my theory, anyways) And since BC has lots of artistic and some historical places...well...that makes Germany pretty huge!

Anyways, I hope to go all over, actually...I have family in the more Northern regions, and in the more Southern ones, and I probably will want to see Berlin...because it contains so much history. (not to see the nightlife or anything like. Nuh uh. Not at all)

It would probably be for a while...so any ideas you have (or just feel like talking/ranting/raving about) would be cool.

Where to start...Berlin is a great place, but a bit crowded. If you're looking for some culture, Potsdam and Leipzig are worth visiting, too. And of course, my hometown Magdeburg also has it's sights.

I haven't spent much time in the South, so I can't speak from experience.

It's a bit hard for me to list sights because, damn, there's so many of them. But travelling through all of Germany is a good idea; there's interesting things to see and do everywhere.

So Gatac, chances are, I won't be bored

Oh! And another important question...how far behind are you guys on CSI and ER? Like, what seasons are you on?

(we are on season 5 for CSI season 11 for ER)

I don't follow CSI, and ER's at the point where they feature Thandie Newton.

After this whole storyline is when I stopped watching ER altogether. I think it's at the stage now where they should just shoot it and then give it a decent burial.

I must admit, ER is boring me to pieces. Blergh.

However, CSI is still awesome. Although from what I've seen, I still think season 1 was the best, amazingly.

All countries outside the United States are teeny-weeny. And if you wish to challenge that, you can speak to Mister Missile. The President said so. And the President is always right. Always right. Always right. You are getting sleepy...

Another update, before Opium pulls us off course entirely: The donations page for TrekUnited.com is now up. They have made $22,380 in just two days, and media coverage is slowly beginning to build.

Donate!

And now, back to the TV show topic. I should know this by now, but what seasons of Star Trek are the various European countries on?

On a completely unrelated subject -- CGI Captain Scarlet. WTF? It doesn't change the fundamental flaw - all the characters are WOODEN! That, and the Voice of the Mysterons in itself. "THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE MYSTERONS! WE KNOW YOU CAN HEAR US, EARTHLINGS! NOW WE WILL TELL YOU OUR PLANS OUT OF SHEER STUPIDITY SO YOU CAN GO AND FOIL THEM!" Oh dear oh dear oh dear........ I've heard of tacky, but that's absurd.....

I don't do warnings in any official sense, Valium, but consider yourself warned. That comment was incredibly offensive and pointless.

Also, don't double-post or we'll eat you.

getting this topic, back on topic, (GASP!) I thought I'd mention that Trekunited has in 2 and a half days raised over 25, 000 dollars. And that's without a whole lot of publicity. There's a rally scheduled in LA on Feb. 25 in front of the Paramount gates for those who want to let there presence and voice be heard. More info can be found of course at Saveenterprise.com

If you do want to donate go to Trekunited.com and do so. I haven't donated yet but I plan to. What the heck. We get most of the money back if it doesn't work out anyways. Besides, I spend at least 25 a week on going out to eat. I can eat at home this week. lol it's not a lot, but it will add up to the majority.
