I was thinking more in the way of American teams, but they'll do.

Well, considering that Canada doesn't have its own professional baseball league and both our teams play in what are technically American leagues, I figure it counts.

OK, OK, one's American and the other one is National.

If there's one thing I've learned from my dad over the years, it's that the truest definition of futility is being a Chicago Cubs fan.

Right. Can't use the Red Sox anymore, but Cubs will do...

The Texas Rangers, the Atlanta Braves, they all do pretty poorly, don't they?

I'd say the Expos or the Jays, but I know NOTHING about baseball, so I'm kinda useless.

Now if HOCKEY was involved, that'd be a different story...

Or in football, the ultimate underachievers - Tottenham Hotspur...

What about Bath City, the first student team to get into hte leagues for 101 years, was it last year or the year before? Sometime like that. They were right at the bottom, but still quite an achievement...

This idea is to give a team that's achieved nothing. A student team making it into the league proper *is* an achievement, and so is the opposite of what I was trying to mention.

I think you'll find that it's pronounced "nuzzing".
