Anywho, it's true! TrekUnited is doing quite well, thanks in part to relentless spammers such as myself. On that subject, I apologize again to Fuyu Ginga. She knows what I'm talking about.

EDIT: I hate double posts, so here's today's update: TU has reached $27,715 thus far. Chief of Operations Chris has issued his first weekly State of the Campaign Address. And it was a pleasure to find that Five Minute Forum-Goer AdmiralSab has arrived (which I somehow missed when it happened 4 days ago), as has the Constructively Criticizing and Most Mysterious IJ3 GAF. Media coverage is beginning, with Tim Braezel's ABC Radio broadcast yesterday and CNN.com's noticing us two days ago. That will be all.

Zeke, have you considered getting a Random Dancing Elephant emoticon for this board?

yeah that's because of the rally in LA yesterday... well there were rallies worldwide. Manny Coto himself was at the rally as were several of the cast and crew. if you want to check it out go to Trekunited.com or Saveenterprise.com they have pics up. so far over 50, 000 has been raised and they have several corporate and company pledges.

apparently Tim's server is so overwhelmed from being flooded with hits that it FOOMed on itself. Announcement was scheduled for 5:05pm EST, but everything's down. Victim of his own success, poor lad. You thought smurfing was bad...try several million very anxious Trekkies! :lol:

UPDATE!: The server at TrekUnited.com is back up, but the forum is not. According to Vulcan_Soul (a high-ranking admin), TrekUnited crashed due to a hacking attempt. In possibly related news, the community message boards at StarTrek.com almost simultaneously stopped accepting posts due to an "Error 500."
