That sounds like plain old Eddie Izzard randomness. As far as I know, the Romans weren't terribly interested in biscuits. He could be a minor household god, I suppose.

A yam is simular to a potato, in that its a tuber that grows in the ground, its kind of orngeish in color and its sweet.

The first Thanksgiving was a dinner between the Pilgrims and the Native Americans in celebration of the harvist of the crops that the Native Americans tought them how to grow. Generaly we use Thanksgiving as a day to be thankful for what we have (and eat alot)

Actualy my mom assures me that a Yam and a Sweet Potato are not the samething. Infact Mom says that a Yam is sweeter. :-s
