[color=#000000ost_uid0]And my verdict? Not too bad at all. I think the Western theme was far to overplayed at times, and some of the plot developments could be seen a mile off. I did like the dialogue though - not nearly as snappy as [iost_uid0]Buffy[/iost_uid0] and [iost_uid0]Angel[/iost_uid0], but good nontheless. I think there were definitely overtones of [iost_uid0]Blake's 7[/iost_uid0] and [iost_uid0]Farscape[/iost_uid0] in there, and I can't say I'm hooked on it in the same way as I am [iost_uid0]Trek[/iost_uid0]. I'll probably keep watching it for the moment though.

EDIT: Do'h. Deja vu with the title thing, though I didn't know that you couldn't use code in the titles. Though I suppose that I do know now.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]I thought they cancelled it? Or did I remember wrongly?

It's never come to my country so I haven't watched it. I have a friend who did, though, and her verdict was that it was 'cheesy'. *shrugs* Maybe it's differing tastes. Can't really say until I watch it...

[color=#000000ost_uid0]It was cancelled.

I only saw one episode-"The Train Job", which was the first one Fox showed, and I was fairly unimpressed.[/colorost_uid0]

It's just that it's taken SFC - *spits on ground* - this long to get around to screening in in the UK.

Way back when I hadn't reached 100 yet, FatMat had just a few posts fewer than I, so I purposely restrained myself on posting for a little while. He didn't pass me up.

But now Sa'ar has 'taken the bait'... :smile: I don't feel so embarrassed about my high post count now. :bigsmile:[/colorost_uid0]

So *that* explains this hook through my lip. I thought I got attacked by a body piercing fetishist.

Just for the record, this is Post #500. Call me D.[/colorost_uid0]

What would by post count be in Roman numerals?

297, I believe....[/colorost_uid0]

CCXCVII

At time of posting, your count was 305. CCCV. Remarkably similar to the Russian name for the Soviet Union.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Well, perhaps I'm not a contender for the lead anymore... but at least I held the record - for a while - I don't remember whether it was Cele or me who finally ended up with the most...[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]No, he just spent his childhood in post-War Poland under the Soviet boot, in a poverty-stricken village, etc.

Somehow, my family stories are so much more depressing than anyone elses. *wan smile*[/colorost_uid0]
