Welcome to the last update of the year! First a bit of explanation: This year at Deltachat (the first forum I ever joined and the birthplace of 5MV), there was a Secret Santa event, and I was assigned to Doc Annin. She's the same Annin who wrote one of my all-time favourite VOY parodies: The Disbanding, which can be found in our Features section. What else could I do but write a sequel?

Don't answer that. Instead, read The Disbanding 2: Breaking Up is Hard to Do. It's got the Voyager crew, the Underused Characters' Tavern, and more references than you can shake two lambs' tails at. Merry Christmas, Annin -- and happy New Year's Eve to all and sundry.

Kim: (Why does that sound so familiar, Tom?)
Paris: (I dunno, but I have the oddest feeling we dodged a bullet by disbanding when we did.)
LMAO xD

That. Was. AWESOME XD The whole thing. Both the original and the sequel

So that's how the eighth Doctor came to regenerate.

Zeke, that was wonderful for very many reasons.

AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAA I have so missed the ChaOaktay jokes. Brilliant from beginning to end -- even if, like last time, I've only seen one or two other shows in the entire pantheon of TV which was parodied.

Nice job! 8)

Nice one, Zeke!

well, I'm less than halfway through, but it looks good.

And now...done.

Quote:
Paris: So why don't we just get back together? We haven't done well on our own, so let's disdisband and do a reunion tour! We can recapture the magic of our time on Voyager!

(Everyone mulls that over for a minute)

Paris: Or we can stay here and drink some more.

Chakotay: I like that plan better.

(The bouncer chuckles -- that's what all the casts of cancelled shows say the first time)
But just because a series was "cancelled" doesn't necessarily mean that everyone in it is/was then by definition "underused." c.f. your own comment about Spike trying to get in -- he was on two cancelled shows, and was decidedly not "underused." (Of course, there is the babe factor...)

Maybe there should be a separate back room of the Tavern for Cancelled Series? An upstairs?

I think we're going to have to talk in terms of hollowed out asteroids here.

I just have to say, Mega Man music is all cool, but my favorite song has got to be the Wood Man Stage's theme from MMII.

It was great to see a sequel to The Disbanding! Loved it, loved part II.

I loved this! High-larious.

Heh heh. A tree in LOtR would have been fine. Or how about one of the petrified trolls in The Hobbit, if it is ever filmed again?

Ents, however, are capable of strong emotion, so in reality it wouldn't make that good of a joke. As a Discworldian Golem however...
