Default Trying to remember the name of a book.

I remember reading this book when I was about 11. All I can remember about it is that there was a feather well and a rock shaped like a needil. There may also have been a cat but I'm not to sure.

I don't especialy enjoying the book, I just want to know what it was!

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

The rock shaped like a needle rings a bell, but the other stuff isn't jogging any memories. The book I'm thinking of is Rebecca's World by Terry Nation. Not sure if that helps any though.

This reminds me. I'm trying to remember the name of a cartoon I used to watch.

There was a blond girl and two boys and a monster. I think they hung out in a treehouse. The monster was a good monster but at some point goes back to "monster land."

I figure it's from the 80s.

Edit: Ahh. Never mind. Found it. "My Pet Monster."
