No, really.

Theme song for the Ducktales Reboot Revealed

Original theme song for comparison (and the full length version in case you want it)

(Rant deleted)

Yeah, um, the new one is a courageous attempt and all, but I'd just as soon keep the original.

(Time to go relax with the orchestral version of the Moon theme...)

As a result of being in the middle of the Annotated Alice in Wonderland, I'm on an Alice kick on YouTube at the moment...

So I hope everyone has a very merry unbirthday!

Various answers for "why is a raven like a writing desk".

Phelous reviews an Alice mockbuster.

If you haven't seen the dub of the '80s anime yet, give it a whirl. It's not for everyone, but has some good bits in it.

A YouTuber pretends that the Disney version is an anime and creates an anime opening for it.

A LEGO stop-motion version of "The Trouble With Tribbles."

(abridged to about seven minutes)

It's fun! Pay attention to the detail of the mouth flapping-there was a lot of head-swapping between shots going on there.

(I can't say I care for the LEGO version of the Enterprise that was used, there are far better ones available. For example, this one.)

Boundary Break covers Pokemon Snap, including the original Professor Oak dub actor, Stuart Zagnit

Boundary Break is a show where control of the in-game camera is taken away from the A.I. so we can see secrets and things that we were never meant to see. Shesez covers both console and PC games new and old.

Just as a sampler, Arkham Asylum, Mario 3, Goldeneye 64, and Ocarina of Time.

As for how he got Zagnit, apparently Shesez just asked. Wow. Now let me inflict his singing on you.

Of course you all know what a Prince Rupert's Drop is...

I've been on a Rankin-Bass kick on YouTube lately...

Live-action lipsynch of "My World is Beginning Today" from Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town.

I didn't even know I needed the laugh, but it turns out I did.

A funny clip from "Offspring", leading into a TNG version of the Cheers theme song.

I haven't seen as much Cheers as I'd like, I was a little too young for it when it first aired. However, my parents were fans, and I've seen my fair share of reruns.

Besides, any day you get to see Data ask Riker "What are your intentions toward my daughter?" is a good day.

In reply to the first clip, someone decided to do the same for DS9.

Cheesy laugh tracks are a good way to cheer up sometimes.

Someone created a home automation system that can be triggered by playing Ocarina of Time songs on an ocarina.

Play Zelda's Lullaby->the front door unlocks.
Play Sun's Song->the living room lights turn on.
Play Bolero of Fire->the thermostat triggers more heating.
Play Song of Storms->the humidifier turns on.
Play Minuet of Forest->a pump waters the plants.
Play Song of Time->a talking clock tells you the time and temperature.
Play Saria's Song->it calls your cellphone if you've misplaced it, the phone even plays a soundclip of Navi saying "Hey, listen!"
Play Epona's Song->the car outside unlocks.
Play Song of Healing->it tells everything to go to standby.

It's Lugia's Song Day in the Link Thread.

Yes, Lugia. From Pokemon 2000. I don't need a reason.

The Original.

Metal Version.

Ocarina Version. (P.S. Plug for David Erick Ramos' channel. He's done much better covers and performances than this).

Flute Version.

Dubstep Version (because of course there's a dubstep version).

Camera tests from the shooting of The Muppet Movie.

I never saw this before, maybe it's the same for some of you. Watch Kermit and Fozzie deal with the cosmic implications of being puppets instead of real animals!

Someone on the Star Trek Reddit mentioned Sev Trek today...

Boy, do I miss Sev Trek. I actually submitted a few punchlines back before you needed an account to do that, before they put up the paywall, before Puss in Boots even existed. Yikes.

Sev Trek archive.

It's "Star Trek fanart posted on Deviantart" Day...

Popeye characters cast as TNG characters.

Discovery characters drawn in manga/webcomic style.

How Christopher Pike would look wearing a Discovery-style uniform.

Painting of TNG Characters (I wonder why Pulaski is there but Guinan, O'Brien and Ro weren't)

Gosalyn from Darkwing Duck in a TOS uniform and carrying a Type 2 phaser.

Anyone remember the Vulcan Healer from "Yesteryear"?

Hayley Atwell wearing a Monster Maroon.

Dusty Abell (I've posted his TOS fanart before) has created two new images for the 30th anniversary of TNG: Good Guys and Bad Guys.

I tested myself, and I think I could name about 75% of the characters, and could at least name the episode for about 90% of them.

Notes (Good Guys): Who's that Romulan between Sarek and the Roshenkos? It doesn't really look like Tomalak or Pardek. Why is Q2 here in the "Good Guys" print? What's the ship between Shuttle 2 and Junior? Is that the criminal ship from "Gambit"?

Notes (Bad Guys): Does Texas really count as a villain? Ditto for the T'Kon Portal. The renditions of Lursa and B'Etor could've been better.

Today's discovery, part two is Player: Piano
Where these people get so many geeky piano cases is beyond me.

Burton Batman Theme (still can't help but add in Goldentusk's lyrics when I hear this)
Ducktales: The Moon (I try hard not to let Brentalfloss's lyrics infect this one)
Star Wars Medley
Williams Superman Theme (Goldentusk lyrics strike again)
Mario Bros Medley
Doctor Who Theme (I do like how she keeps changing her Doctor cosplays between shots)
Tetris A Theme (the LEGO bracelet is a nice touch)

An NES sits in a barn for 20 years rusting out, and a guy cleans it up and makes it functional again with minimal replacement parts.

I'm especially impressed by the Link to the Past cartridge that still has usable save files. All of my games that have internal button batteries have long since died.
