Didn't they just have chunks of spray-painted polystyrene glued to their heads?

Who knows what it is? We do, of course, but we're not telling, for fear of other races adapting it as body armor.

Well, it's officially been a year, so I gotta ask (call it a Persistant Niggling Question if you must): Why is this thread still stickied?

Zeke used really good sticky tack or whatever you call the stuff.

Well, everyone knows that the answer to duct tape is WD-40 and vice-versa, so there must be a counterpart to tacky sticky stuff in this forum.

Yet another indication of my dementia is that muddy's post made me picture Zeke in a Proto Man costume.

Proto Man... you mean, homo floresiensis? If he went around on his knees, it would sort of work, but there's no way of making Zeke's head less big (and believe me, we've all tried).

I mean that in the original Japanese, Proto Man isn't Proto Man, he's called Blues. And Mega Man is called Rock, to form a really sad joke with Roll. Apparently there was some sort of music theme going on with Dr. Light's bots. You might call it the same whimsy that Dr. Soong used.

That sort of thing is better suited for the Persistent Niggling Questions thread.
