Default Hadrons fall. Everyone dies.

By now we've all heard that the Large Hadron Collider will kill us all. Well, today it was switched on... and so far we're still here, but who knows if that'll change? The answer: you do, thanks to this convenient website.

There! Any time you need an update on whether the earth has been sucked into a miniature black hole, just check that page. I'm sure they update it frequently.

(Extra link: I'm not as fond of YouAreDumb.net as I used to be, but I loved Bryan's comment on the LHC lawsuit in the first half of this article.)

We haven't flashed forward either. I want to know what life will be like 20-odd years from now, dammit.

There's also this one, just in case you really want to be sure about it:

I had heard about the lawsuit some time ago, but this was amusing. Walter Wagner is an interesting case; he's actually got scientific credentials, of a sort, but the fact that his bio is found first on the Coast to Coast AM website really tells the story.

Mmmm... fajitas. :P

Oh Zeke, thanks for giving me that website. Now I don't have to look outside to see if the Earth has been destroyed.

Hey, that one's actually functional! Neat. (You can see the if/then/else in the source code. By the way, the source of that first page also has fun stuff in it.)

That webcam link is pure genius.

I was still waking up when they switched on the LHC, so if the world had ended......I would have missed it!
