What...the...eff...
I found this on bash.org:
Zeke: sex to the fifth power seems like a lot of fun. Celeste: You can tell what zeke has on his mind. Kira: Math? Zeke: It's like math, only naked. Here. Somebody please tell me that that's a different Zeke, Kira and Celeste. Gatac

Sounds like dialogue from a bad webcomic. And I might have a specific bad webcomic in mind, but I'm not crazy enough to mention it.

Wow if that isn't the same Zeke, Kira and Celeste then that would be one big coincidence. :-s

It's us -- I've known about that for a couple of years. And while I'm pleased to be on bash, I'm annoyed about the particular quote. I've said much wittier things.
(The real question is who submitted that quote. I know it wasn't me.)

Could be your alternate self, then. It might be Zeke2 (or was it Zeke1?) from the May 19th newspost. Whether it's Zeke1 or Zeke2 depends on how cynical you are about Zeke's real motivations.

Yeah, you never get the really good stuff onto bash. Only the ones where you make a fool of yourself. (But I suspect that's the general idea.)

I remember the quote in question, if not the exact context in which it occurred, but I'm not sure I could tell from the item linked above who would have done so. There don't seem to be any identifiers about it at all; is everything on bash.org anonymous like that?

I posted that. But that was like 5 years ago. Before Bash got stupid about the quotes that they put up there.

That has been my experience as well--another of my boards has submitted some perfectly good quotes over the past few years, and none of them got in. Then I happened to see a stupid little inane "embarrassing" bit with familiar names and sure enough . . . *rolls his eyes* And nobody knows who submitted it, either.

You're all asking the wrong type of question.

It'll make sense to at least one other person on here after September 18th.

Well, that's properly cryptic, I guess.

I tell a lie, actually. It won't make sense so much as be a clearer kind of nonsense.
