A) I mutilate my words to give you international folks a chance to read it correctly, and get mocked. It figures.

B) Nobody in the real world says "Danke schön" unless they want to emphasize the unreal sound of it.

C) I'm not even going to touch on the issue of German as a second language. In my experience, it usually leads to bad things. (Both other people learning it and me commenting on it, that is.)
