Ouch.

...Just 'Ouch'.

Still, I think we can safely say that most people on this forum would prefer a type of entertainment involving less crushed bones (or, to be more precise, less of their own bones crushed, and more of other people's)

Good choice  Still sounds painful though, but I prefer that to the chainsaw option

I'm glad you did...it seems to be the better option. I hope your foot heals quickly!

I wasn't even bruised, believe it or not. It rolled perfectly down the laces of my hightop. I walked around for a few minutes muttering "ow" and then went back to work collecting firewood.

You really want to be wearing steel toe-capped boots for that sort of thing. Means less bruised feet.

A good thing there was nothing broken, eh?

Not lately, but we're taking it as a given.

evay, glad there were no adverse consequences but, for the future, don't argue with trees, 'k? They can be somewhat unforgiving.

Wow. That's luck, or something! But yah, do wear steal-toed boots. I've heard they really help.

^^But the tree hit the top of my foot. Steel on the toes of the boots wouldn't have helped.

Well, boots of that sort are usually quite sturdy anyway - what exactly was it you were wearing at the time?

I don't think I do much when I'm bored. It's sort of like my brain just floats out of my head and starts killing things with Fire Emblem or sometimes Battle Network graphics. All in all, it's very pretty.

Ah. Well, a pair of workboots prolly would have made some difference, but I expect it still would have smarted some.

What do i do when i'm bored? Find violent movies with lots of gore and laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh! Mwa Ha Ha!

Speaking of which, this seems like an appropriate place to ask: where is that little animation of the stick-figure-like guy bashing his computer/keyboard with his head? It was here somewhere but i can't find it. I'd like to gross out a friend of mine with it...

I know the one that you mean, but I've got no idea where to find it I'm afraid.
