Welcome to Day 3 of our Five-Minute Firefly launch! First up is Jade yet again (jaded yet?) with "Jaynestown," one of my favourites for a reason you'll quickly discover. Today we also have the first guest fiver of this event: "Heart of Gold," by the just-in-time guest writer alluded to in a previous newspost, PointyHairedJedi. (Sorry for the unscheduled absence yesterday -- somebody told me to burn the land and boil the sea. You would not believe how long that takes.)
