Totally unrelated post
Guys, I'm having major issues with Trillian at the moment and, knowing how clever you all are (and that loads of you use it as well) I was wondering if anyone could help me.
Every time I open my totally 100% illegally upgraged version of Trillian pro, I get this message:-  I haven't installed a new plugin or anything... Any ideas? It only just started happening yesterday after months and months of working fine.

tried that one too but my cr.... did not work on it :evil: ...so I reinstalled 2.0
works fine

Why are you using an illegal upgrade, Lexy? I can't afford the full version, but the free version has always been sufficient to my needs. It's less likely to mess up on you, too.

Probably because the free version won't even allow you to give your contacts aliasses. And I refuse to chat with someone named ***YAY!!!1 got my new pc 3ghz, geforce 4 128mb!! check out my website blah.nl!***
I'm sorry to say that most of my friends do that. So now I use aMSN under Linux.

Incidentally, he is also the one who told me how to fix the problem. But yes, you are right, if I used the normal, un-messed up with version, I would probably not have half the problems. Yeah, Alexia, I was having the same problem! I'm not 100% sure how I fixed it, but it doesn't happen anymore.

I've a few illegal copies of things, mostly because before I couldn't afford them. Now that I've got a PayPal account and can atually pay for stuff on-line I might see about getting legal versions instead (but not all at the same time - some of them are not cheap).
