I didn't get something about Tarn-Vedra's qoute. did you mean for us to find whoever said your qoute, or the original biblical qoute?
(If it's the latter - genesis, chapter 22) |

I wanted you to find who said it, but as an aside, I also wanted to know what if meant, as in, where did the thing about the microphone come from? I already knew where the bit about Isaac came from.

Anyway, since I don't think anyone will ever answer it, it was Stewie from Family Guy. For some reason, I found it incredibly funny.

It is rather amusing
And mudshark, I think Twain is very rarely a poor guess as the source of a witty quotation about life in general. He's my go-to guy in that respect .

Do we have a quote to be getting on with? If not then I give you this:
"These Arkansas lunkheads couldn't come up to Shakespeare" It's a bit of a random line but someone should get it. I like this game! I will not let it die! Erm, if we did have a quote then ignore that.

Vedra - I was just trying to clarify stuff- sorry if I was a bit tactless....
I think a new rule should be that after the fourth incorrect guess (after which the poster of the unguessable quote reveals where there quote is from), it's the first person to put in a quote next..... :?:

^ Actually, that one was already stated above. Should be open, at this point.

That would be in connection with "The King's Cameleopard (or, The Royal Nonesuch)".
