[color=#000000ost_uid0]Thank you, everyone! I've had a great birthday, what with the fivers, the nice weather, no major headaches...oh, and my family gave me some nice gifts too. Mostly clothes, but also a nifty umbrella (my last one is fine, but it blew its top one windy day and I haven't trusted it not to flip its lid since ) and [iost_uid0]The 34th Rule[/iost_uid0]. That ought to be a good book. [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Let's see, September is Self Improvement Month, Rice Month, [color=orangeost_uid0]Honey[/colorost_uid0] Month, Chicken Month (Noticed how many of these are about food?), [color=greenost_uid0]Papaya[/colorost_uid0] Month, Classical Music Month, and Courtesy Month.

Tomorrow, the 5th, is Be Late For Something Day.

The 6th is Fight Procrastination Day. I think I'll procrastinate and wait to be late until the 6th.

Unfortunately, we've missed out on National Beheading Day on the 2nd. But how are you supposed to celebrate something like [iost_uid0]that[/iost_uid0], anyway? :S :suspicious: :O [/colorost_uid0]

We line up redshirts in a row and chop their heads off, one by one.

Wait. This forum isn't into redshirt-bashing... is it? :suspicious:[/colorost_uid0]

Are you forgetting the fifth [iost_uid0]already[/iost_uid0]? If there is a holiday for being late, why not be late for another holiday and celebrate it then? That is, now. [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Labor Day seems to be the only Holiday where you actually go to work, at least for me, and all the stores with Labor Day sales.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Labour Day (optional u) is celebrated in May in the rest of the world. They changed it to September on this continent for two reasons:

1: Spacing. There was no stat holiday in September, and there was already one in May (in Canada at least - Victoria Day. Dunno 'bout the States)>

2: The silly commies kept parading tanks and missiles around on Mayday.[/colorost_uid0]

We get to throw people out of airlocks on Labour Day? Whee!

That's why they call it "Mayday", eh? [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]LoL, I've always wondered about that.

Hey you may have to work on labor day, but you do get payed more right? I had to work last thanksgiving to get ready for "the busyest shoping day of the year." and i asked for it off too, because i was suppose to go to visit my aunt who i never see. :madder:[/colorost_uid0]
