A new meme: the movie that was number one in the box office on the day you were born will give you an indication of how the rest of your year will go.
Here's a site to tell you what that movie was. I got On Golden Pond. I've only seen the 2001 Andrews and Plummer version, not the Hepburn and Fonda version. I don't recall much of the plot, so I'm not sure what to think.

Since it's my birthday, I've decided to do a roundup of Trek birthday clips...
McCoy gives Kirk a birthday present and toast. Tuvok's Birthday Cake. For some reason Janeway thinks that Tuvok isn't a hundred years old yet, when he's actually 112. You'd think the writing staff would have settled this question when they decided he was on the Excelsior. Riker tricks Worf with a surprise party.
