I've long been interested in the United Earth Space Probe Agency, or UESPA, the organization only mentioned a few times in TOS before the concept of Starfleet was finalized. This page has an interesting hypothesis, that the presence of army-based ranks like Colonel in a naval-based Starfleet may be attributed to a combined service of UESPA and Starfleet officers.

This one gave me a good laugh. A lot of Voyager tapes for sale on eBay "Starring Robert Picardo!" Not Kate Mulgrew, not a rundown of all the main characters, our friendly EMH has taken center stage!
