Well, I have to confess that I know next to nothing about iPods in the first place, so my opinions really aren't worth anything.

You see, I only want a portable music player. Cell phone, video, schedule program, all that other stuff, I really don't need, or at least want as a separate device.

Pray to god you never have a problem with this thing breaking. The problems people have returning them... ugh.
Personally I will probably never go near one of those things with a ten foot pole. That's me, though. But as far as getting stuff on an iPod, iTunes seems to be the way to go. Wikipedia is quite useful. You can get games from the iTunes store, according to this. Here ya go. Or maybe you want something a little more free? Okay, I admit it, the ability to link text is my new fun toy. But I have tried to find some useful and informative sites, I think.
