Photon. Although I must admit a plasma torpedo sounds better (A photon being a light partical, making a photon torpdeo -by it's name- a light bomb.), how we ever seen Plasma Torpedos? I know the Romulans use them. I don't think I've ever seen them though....

We see them a few times in TOS. I also want to say that we've seen them in DS9...at least I think we're supposed to assume those green photon-torpedo looking things are plasma.

And definitely the Death Star. There's just something so satisfying about that superlaser dimple. Don't ask me what it is...

Phasers or disruptors?
