I've done it in a Ford Tempo. Much better, since I don't have to stop in every town, hamlet and thorp along the way (although once you get past Hope there's nowhere to stop).
Exceptions: blizzards, blinding fog and driving uphill against a torrent of meltwater. Someone else can handle the wheel then. Driving in BC is fun, for a limited value of "fun".
