An outstanding job by Blalock, and Bakula's Archer was nearly as good (his reaction to the destruction of Earth was a standout moment.) FX especially good in the "Earth blows up" scene and the one in whch the bridge is rudely separated from the rest of the ship.
I'm still undecided on the scene in Engineering leading up to the destruction of [i
ost_uid0]Enterprise[/i
ost_uid0]. Not a direct lift, but I was conscious of the similarity to Charlton Heston's big scene at the end of [i
ost_uid0]Beneath the Planet of the Apes[/i
ost_uid0]. I'll have to try it again without the interruptions. Possibly more comments then.
Overall, though, I was quite pleased with this one.
