That would have been a significant improvement. I remember without that, it went something like:
5 Open menu 10 Equip Iron Boots 15 Close menu 20 Fall past where you're supposed to go 25 Open menu 30 Remove Iron Boots 35 Close menu 40 Rise above where you're supposed to go 45 GOTO 5 for two or three loops.
