Shameless plug
So I can't remember if I mentioned in here that I'm going to be the next Bill Nye. I'm starting an Indiegogo campaign soon to raise funds to allow me to produce a series of YouTube videos explaining basic concepts in science in simple terms. In the meantime, I'm pimping it out to just about everyone I know to generate some advance publicity.
http://scienceisntscary.webs.com/ http://www.facebook.com/scienceisntscary.iswear https://twitter.com/sciencenotscary/ Spread the word. Given my well-known disdain of all forms of social media, the fact that we have Twitter and Facebook for it should give you an idea of how committed I am to it.

That is indeed me. Behind me is the HPLC-MS that was the bane of my existence for months until I gave up on every getting it to work properly.
My hair isn't usually that short. I got overly hacked last haircut.
