ost_uid0]I saw the first part. Having a soft spot for 50s era period dress, I also liked the cinematography. The eyes on the aliens were an intriguing departure: if you look closely, they have distinct coloured irises.

ost_uid0]Well I finally got to watch the first episode. Pretty good stuff, but a bit on the slow-moving side. My mom was bored to death. I think the aliens are a bit cheesy, but since it's supposed to validate all those 1950s alien sightings... :shrugs:Will comment more when I've watched more episodes...

ost_uid0]Well, I've finally watched the last episode, and I think it was pretty good on the whole, even though I felt that the final episode was a bit anti-climatic and the series peaked (in terms of tension and narrative drive) somewhere in the eighth and ninth episodes. What caught my attention in the final episode was this little scene in which two of the characters are talking in a car, and one asks the other a question, and he replies: "Pie." And she's like, "What?" And he says something like, "Find me a place to eat, and I'll tell you the answer." Pie Is Everywhere.

ost_uid0]Oddly enough, the biggest expressway (or highway, if you're American) in Singapore is known as the PIE. Stands for the Pan-Island Expressway, and everyone calls it the P-I-E, but.... :snerf: PIE!
