Most fun: subtitles AND dubbing, and enjoy the differences (Crouching Tiger is a good example--the translations seem to have been done by two sets of people in separate, locked rooms).
Anyway hearing the original voices is always better. I am currently addicted to Bleach (a Japanese anime), and there is just no way an English dub could convey the cadences and emotions of the original voice actors. (
"Nani??" = "What??" just sounds different.) This way you also get to hear the chucks of imported English ("Thankyou!" pops up a lot, and the closing credit song is all in Japanese except for the words "rhapsody" and "appreciation").
