ost_uid0]Something occured to me while I was watching Wolverine slice 'n dice the SpecOps soldies in the mansion...would he get blood poisoning from his claws? I suspect his hyperactive healing would deal with any toxins or foreign bodies that stuck to the claws when they were retracted. Either that, or they have a nonstick Teflon coating.
He did get shot with a tranq dart and didn't pass out, and I suspect that's why he was thrashing around during his adamantium-fusing process flashbacks: they couldn't anesthetise him. He also doesn't age, as indicated by Stryker's comment and by the comic book continuity where he fought in WWII with Captain America.
I also found it odd that there weren't any bloodstains on the fridge.[/color
