To return to the original topic, it turns out we didn't know the half of it. It's not just Link's handedness that's reversed in the GC version... it's the entire game. Every asymmetric object is flipped; every left turn is a right. As far as I'm concerned, that's just laziness, and it's gonna make talking about the game very confusing.
