Hehehe, you kids are cute. :)[/color:post_uid0]

FatMatDuhRat 08-02-2003 03:23 PM

[b:post_uid0]Nan,[/b:post_uid0] that is an absolutely awesome hair style!
It reminds me of my bleached blonde punk days.
[i:post_uid0]You > Me.[/i:post_uid0]

[b:post_uid0]Zeke,[/b:post_uid0] I want that shirt!
(& it'd better be size L)
:D[/color:post_uid0]

Nan 08-04-2003 05:17 AM

Thanks. :D

Purple is more than a colour, baby.[/color:post_uid0]

taya17 08-04-2003 05:36 AM

Nan! You live!

And right, purple's more than a colour, it's a lifestyle, baby! :)[/color:post_uid0]

Sa'ar Chasm 08-04-2003 06:36 AM

It's an imperial colour.[/color:post_uid0]

[quote:post_uid0="Nan"]Purple is more than a colour, baby.[/quote:post_uid0]
Yeah, [b:post_uid0]Purple[/b:post_uid0] is a major part of the rainbow as it streaks
across the summer sky right after a massive downpour
washes away all the garbage on top of the earth.

(I'm inna slightly poetic mood today.)
:D[/color:post_uid0]

entei 08-09-2003 02:10 PM

Purple is also the colour of a pot of purple paint as it accidentally spills on a sheet of paper.

(and nope, I'm not feeling at all poetic today =;) )[/color:post_uid0]

mudshark 08-09-2003 07:12 PM

^ Actually, that [i:post_uid0]is[/i:post_uid0] poetic, in a sort of Beat or possibly coffee-house/PIB kind of way.
:faint sound of bongos:

Purple, yeah. Mauve, even. ;)[/color:post_uid0]

catalina_marina 08-09-2003 07:36 PM

Well, I'm off to Italy. See you in two weeks.

Have fun people!
:) :D  [/color:post_uid0]

taya17 08-15-2003 12:18 AM

How's Italy? Get a Lamborghini back for me, will ya? :D[/color:post_uid0]

For my website go to http://user.aphs.sa.edu.au/~ltalbotsmith/index.htm

Is anything spelt wrong?

And tell me if you want the picture or even the reference removed, I kinda forgot to ask and I'll do that ASAP if you want.

Note: Very bad photo of me, but then, they always are. Maybe it's just me.[/color:post_uid0]

Sa'ar Chasm 08-15-2003 06:54 PM

My Mum's maiden name was Talbot.

Silver's a rather boring metal. It doesn't blow up and it barely reacts with anything.

Manganese...now there's a metal with character (both ionic and covalent). Permanganate can dissolve things.[/color:post_uid0]

:gives Sa'ar strange looks:

You chemists...[/color:post_uid0]

NAHTMMM 08-16-2003 02:31 AM

Carbon's fun too, but in a Tinker Toys/geometrical appeal way more than in a pyrotechnic way. ;)[/color:post_uid0]

Sa'ar Chasm 08-16-2003 05:26 AM

But carbon isn't a metal.

[quote:post_uid0]:gives Sa'ar strange looks:

It's the fumes.[/color:post_uid0]

AKAArzosah 08-16-2003 09:29 AM

I like silver for the colour and the jewellery side of things.

I have LOTS of silver jewellery.[/color:post_uid0]

Nan 08-16-2003 09:23 PM

Hematite is fun for jewelry. Remember anything about hematite, there, Stevis? *runs*[/color:post_uid0]

:D[/color:post_uid0][/quote:post_uid0]
Oddly enough, it is, even though I'm a size M. Hmm.

You can't have *that* one, but I'm going into the T-shirt business when I get the time. I was originally going to use CafePress, but they recently upped their fees dramatically (they were already pretty high), and changed certain policies. What I'm going to do instead is look for a bulk dealer and sell that way instead. At some point I'll start a thread asking what sort of products y'all would be interested in.[/color:post_uid0]
