Dr. Phil
Is anyone else annoyed by this man? I don't understand where a bald, old white man who has led a suburban, upper middle class/upper class lifestyle gets off judging people and dictating how they should fix their "problems". I just think he's an ass. But maybe that's just me.

It's not just you...

Thank you for vindicating me, Lexy! ^_^

Welcome

Weren't you the one making the iPod avatars? I would love one of Andromeda...hehe.

Make a space-shuttle-esque parody about him. <3

No, you're not the only one.
I dislike all these programmes on grounds that they are degrading and freak-show stuff. |
Yeah, a lot of stuff they do on those talk shows is offensive...especially recently, what with some of the new bills passed up here you think they'd be a bit better about it...
|
Yay! Thanks, Lexy, I'll see if I can find one.
And yeah, I don't like the freak-show talk shows. I can deal with Oprah because she's usually just talking about a book or Michael Jackson or giving crap away to her audience. |
Heh. Here they stopped showing her..........Instead, we have thousands of these things on, at just the right time (about 11 am) for almost no-one to actually possibly be watching them.
|
I like Dr Phil... but I don't like any of the rest of them for the reasons that the rest of you have stated.
|
I like Oprah, 'cause she'll talk to someones who's grandfather died shortly after their house burnt down 'cause they are in a wheel chair due to the cancer and they couldn't reach the stove which was still on 'cause the poor korean sweatshop workers made a mistake while making it, and somehow the conversation will be about her.
I like Dr. Phil because of his weird analogies. As his grandfather used to say, "It's like when a skunk tries to rollerskate: the sun just rises on the water." I also like the Ellen show, but I don't think that's the same thing :D |
