Boredom

We all know (or should know) that boredom makes people do funny things... in my case, I read Fuyu Ginga's sig and was inspired to give seko her own 'Go Zeke!' sign (at Seko's scale, the writing's unreadable, but that's what it said)

What was the last weird/unusual/embaressing/blackmail-worthy thing you did when you lot were bored out of your skull, skulls, or miscellaneous cognitive organ protection system(s)?

Ginga 09-25-2005 06:48 PM

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...rangekitty.gif <-- "Well, um. *clears throat* Excuse me, but... I happen to be a male. I do love that sign, though! *holds it, waving it with glee* Of course my apprectiation for Zeke goes off the scale because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be allowed to continue existing in this sig, my clone would not be in KillerGM's sig... hooray, Zeke! *wave wave*"

How nice. :D Seko obviously loves his sign. Thank you! X3

When I was last bored out of my skull... I tried to make a new Livejournal layout. It didn't work too well. All that erasing and erasing and erasing... >_O

If you actually wanna use that one, then its at www.acstudent.co.uk/orangekitty2.gif . Feel free, Seko is your cat, not mine.

Oh, and apologies for the gender mistake - its hard to see through that thick, luxurious fur you got there, Seko...

I don't think I ever tried editing LJ layouts... decorating ain't my thing:(

Alexia 09-25-2005 08:46 PM

LJ layouts is more my thing

Although I'm all out of creativity...*meh*

Chancellor Valium 09-25-2005 09:06 PM

Chancellor Valium 09-25-2005 09:34 PM

Huh? Sorry, you've lost me....

Alexia 09-25-2005 09:50 PM

Stay lost. It's more fun

Indeed. I lost myself in...ooh, must've been 1991...I've never looked apple since ;)

whoiam 09-25-2005 09:59 PM

You two should both band together to create the 'lost' party for the e-trektion...*-)

You have done a great thing, whoiam...

Great enough to buy forgiveness in my part of the creation of Yodck?

Zeke 09-26-2005 08:40 AM

Awwwwww. You guys....

And I am just too.

(It's a gratuitous V reference, people! See, I was watching Dune last night, and of course it breifly starts Leonard Cimino. Did I mention my brain is a strange place?)

Anyway, sometimes when I'm bored I make stuff like this:

Given my crapness at Photoshop, that usually fills out half-an-hour just fine. Very occasionally I'll write something like the Pientology article, and even rarer still I actually manage to write a bit of a fiver. Doesn't happen very often at all, though. ;)

Yodck: You say that like it was an illogical thing. *Thwack!* ow!

Richardson: Always wanted to do that back.

You have joined the fold of Morphine. You will be forgiven....for a considerable consideration.....

Opium 09-26-2005 11:58 AM

hehe, the "LOST" party...
I mean, Vote Morphine!

Besides reading, writing, studying, watching news, dramas, etc, do crafts, msn people, etc, and doing other real-world stuff to combate bordom, I do some computer-world things to combat boredom, such as write strange things, like the Seko Kidnapped stories, and 'photoshop" I have some cheap photoshop knockoff that came with my scanner) Sims 2 clothes and stuff like this:

BTW, GO ZEKE, you're the ruler of the online parodies![/img]

Drop a thirty-foot pine tree on your foot. I guarantee you will not be bored for at least half an hour.

Zeke 09-26-2005 04:09 PM

Whoa. If that happened to you, I'm really, really sorry. Ouch.

evay 09-26-2005 04:36 PM

^^It did. We were cutting down some dead trees in the yard to use as firewood in our maple sap evaporator. We'd cut through the trunk, but the tree had large radial spoke branches which were holding the whole thing a few feet off the ground. Hubby was trying to trim the two or three branches which were supporting the weight of the trunk. I think I was holding the tree, more or less, so it didn't roll onto him when the support went -- there was some important reason I was standing close to the tree during this operation.

He cut through the critical branch, but happened to be standing behind me (up against a row of bushes so there was nowhere for him to go) when it fell so I couldn't really move without stumbling into the still-running chainsaw.

I chose to let the tree fall on my foot.
