[quote:post_uid0="catalina_marina"]You did, but Sa'ar was the one who started it. ;)[/color:post_uid0][/quote:post_uid0]
Hm...

It seems I`m better at Dutch than at French!

I might take Neo`s advice, and call it after a Star Trek character I want to yell at... :D Kathryn!

Actually, I don`t want to yell at Kathryn, she is, in my opinion, the best Star Trek character ever. That also is a good reason to name a cat after her, ain`t it? :D[/color:post_uid0]

[quote:post_uid0]That also is a good reason to name a cat after her, ain`t it?[/quote:post_uid0]

Only if she's a ginger cat.[/color:post_uid0]

MaverickZer0 02-08-2004 02:53 AM

How about Snowbell? Or Marine?

I like Zeke's idea. Tango is a good name for a cat.[/color:post_uid0]

Nic Corelli 02-08-2004 05:17 AM

Tango would be great for a male cat... but the cat is female...

So I called her Kathryn, after all! :D She`s not ginger, but hey, nobody`s perfect. She`s polar white, :D

And she`s scheming. She ate a whole big can of cat food today. Later I read on the can that it should last TWO days. She tricked me, she wasn`t hungry, just wanted to overeat! :D[/color:post_uid0]

I see you have a lot to learn about the ways of cats, my friend.[/color:post_uid0]

I always wanted a Cat, but my dad hates them.

My pets are named after book characters: Erik, Horatio, Gilraen, Maggie[/color:post_uid0]

[quote:post_uid0]She tricked me, she wasn`t hungry, just wanted to overeat![/quote:post_uid0]

No, she was hungry. Cats are always hungry, even when they aren't. They just think they are.

My cat, Molly, is convinced she's constantly starving. Either that or she has tapeworms.[/color:post_uid0]

my two cats are called Thomas and Charles weird eh?[/color:post_uid0]

Sa'ar Chasm 02-12-2004 06:59 PM

Who calls a cat "Charles Weird Eh"?[/color:post_uid0]

PointyHairedJedi 02-12-2004 07:04 PM

I've always wanted to name a pet after a Discworldian camel, but going out into the street and having to shout "Here,You Vicious Bastard! Here boy!" is rather a downside.[/color:post_uid0]

catalina_marina 02-12-2004 07:19 PM

Just be sure that pet is a cat. Then you won't have to call it.[/color:post_uid0]

Alright, you've had your week. Whaddya think of [i:post_uid0]Ice and Fire[/i:post_uid0] so far? :D[/color:post_uid0]

Well, I had very little time to read it, I`ve only read 42 pages so far... but I can already say that I love it! I`ve been quoting it to a friend over SMS messages today, :D These 42 pages seem VERY promising...

That Viserys guy is eeevil, :D[/color:post_uid0]

Important information regarding the cat:

I have renamed her from Kathryn to Oddity. The Croatian word for that is Čudo. Pronounced Tchudo.

Mostly because of her attempts at destroying the furniture, attacking the cellphone and switching the channel during DS9. And other, numerous examples of odd behaviour...

I unconciously started calling her Oddity. Then I realized I always call her that and never by her name. So there. It`s now official![/color:post_uid0]

[quote:post_uid0="Nic Corelli"]I`m also done asking my friends - one of them suggested Glorious Imperial Cat of Romulus.[/color:post_uid0][/quote:post_uid0]
Ooh! I like that name! You could call it Rommie for short![/color:post_uid0]

Nic Corelli 03-24-2004 06:48 AM

Yes. I [i:post_uid0]do wonder[/i:post_uid0] why, oh Andropologist... :p[/color:post_uid0]

AKAArzosah 03-24-2004 06:51 AM

Yep! :D[/color:post_uid0]

I [i:post_uid0]like[/i:post_uid0] it. ;)

Gotta go with Pointy with "Irulan" for a female.

Maybe Leto or Atreus if a boy? ;)

Hmm...

Tiel (tee-ell), Koei (koh-way), Turin, Nam Rii (nom-ree), Wist, Yumyum, Ameretat, Damathat, Pantalaimon, Spud, Yamamanama, Vantigo, Caylem, Padma, Waru, Amaani, Lucco, Sennin, Huan, Pi, Cashew, Velcro, Spline, Spaz, Maitake (my-ta-keh, s'Japanese), Kiku, Ginaz, Chani, Ramallo...

*shrug* Depends on the cat, I suppose. ;)

Edit: Prolly shoulda noticed the gender was decided, but it's almost 3 AM. I write it off as fatigue-addling. :D[/color:post_uid0]

Standback 03-24-2004 10:45 AM

Oooo... "Oddity"'s a great name... I just didn't understand, do you use the English word, or in Croation?

And, how's [i:post_uid0]Ice and Fire[/i:post_uid0]? ;)[/color:post_uid0]
