One Hit Wonder Forum Game (warning: not for the timid)

So, here are the rules:

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to find a Google search that returns exactly one hit.

Example:
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...e+Search&meta=
"Yorked in the googlies"

Begin.

Ginga 10-10-2004 03:14 AM

Holy cow! D:

I gotta try this!

Do image searches count? I seem to remember getting a one hit search last night on an image search...

AH! *squeal*

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...cks%22&spell=1

What do I win!? :D:D:D

Sa'ar Chasm 10-10-2004 03:24 AM

Quote:

What do I win!?
That was fast.

Well, you came first in the speed trials, so you win...uhhh...pie. Sure. Pie.

Ginga 10-10-2004 03:31 AM

Alright! Pie! :D *munches*

Here's to speedy posting and one-hit-search finding. X3

Nic Corelli 10-10-2004 03:37 AM

Mwahahahahah! Seven searches were fruitless, but the eighth one was triumphant! I knew my excrutiating studying of the Elamite kings would one day come in handy... Ladies and gentlemen, I present...

Kuduzulvsh II!

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=Kuduzulvsh+II&meta=

Ginga 10-10-2004 03:38 AM

I win again. More pie!

NeoMatrix 10-10-2004 04:01 AM

This was easy

Hotaru 10-10-2004 06:58 AM

Found this while looking for a map to Rivercove, either from Calgary or Cochrane.

Woo!

Scooter 10-10-2004 07:09 AM

Here's an, um, useful link...

Gas on the Go for Hungry Warthogs

Opium 10-10-2004 09:36 AM

And it isn't even from here!

I know, I know, 2 answers - but they're identical - trust me :D

stripysox 10-10-2004 02:13 PM

Is it cheeting if you search for part of a URL? Like this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...et&btnG=Search

Well if it is I'll come back later with a real one.

Alexia 10-10-2004 02:33 PM

Dunno what possesed me to type this but it worked

http://www.google.com/search?num=20&...on&btnG=Search

Draknek 10-10-2004 09:57 PM

Without any extra rules (as with a googlewhack), this is just too easy.

http://www.google.com/search?q=tight...ma+than+others

Hotaru 10-11-2004 05:34 AM

Hmmm. I would like someone to find me a one-hit entry. This one hit entry must have a word that contains the letter Q, and can be no longer than 4 words long. Hard enough for ya Drak?

Draknek 10-11-2004 07:20 AM

http://www.google.com/search?q=ubiqu...omone+subclass

Opium 10-11-2004 09:32 AM

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ing+dachshunds

Yay! Second!

Draknek 10-11-2004 05:07 PM

And with all four words with a "q" in:

http://www.google.com/search?q=exqui...lity+technique

Hotaru 10-11-2004 05:34 PM

That last one had 6 results. :P

Okay. Let's try 3 words, the first word containing an A, the second containing G and I, and the last containing R. Think you can find that one?

NeoMatrix 10-11-2004 05:40 PM

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...oopies+In+Risa

Easy as pie

Draknek 10-11-2004 06:42 PM

Strange, I'm sure it had one hit when I found it. Now I'm seeing two, which is still four less than six.

Hotaru said three words, but thankfully the "in" can be removed without changing the results.

MaverickZer0 10-11-2004 06:49 PM

It's a PDF result, but...*shrug*

http://www.google.ca/search?num=20&h...truck+penguins

Don't ask. Just...don't.

Hotaru 10-11-2004 07:50 PM

C'mon, other people have to give out requests. That can be part of the game!

For now: 5 words. 1 must contain X, 2 must contain R, and 4 words must start with the same letter. Try that one.

Draknek 10-11-2004 09:13 PM

I can do all five:

http://www.google.com/search?q=linux...ular+loud+like

Someone try 3 words, each starting with b followed by a consonant.

Hotaru 10-11-2004 10:43 PM

Gotta try harder than that, Drak:

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...et+blame&meta=

3 words that make a palindrome. (spelt the same backwards and forwards)

Xeroc 10-12-2004 03:42 AM

If you ignore all punctuation and spaces, like mose palindromes do, this works!

http://www.google.com/search?num=100...22&btnG=Search

Any # of words, but the first letter of each must be in alphabetical order.

Like: Alpha Banana Cereal

Opium 10-12-2004 11:17 AM

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...arians&spell=1

I started with TopHatMan instead of Trident, but that got me no results!

Hotaru 10-12-2004 01:59 PM

Opium! You forgot to give something to search for! Any ideas anyone?

Nic Corelli 10-13-2004 01:07 AM

Just one rule.

And that rule is...

Just One Word.

(Word meaning a Real Word, not "kertipsi" or "zroingplinky").

Mwahahahaha

Nic Corelli 10-13-2004 01:09 AM

(I tried, and yes, it is possible!)

NAHTMMM 10-13-2004 01:09 AM

http://www.google.com/search?num=100...q=refunfunamos *whistles innocently*

Nic Corelli 10-13-2004 01:12 AM

Use it in a sentence, Mister.

NAHTMMM 10-13-2004 01:16 AM

Refunfunamos porque nos molesta :(

Ahem... I don`t think so! :P

NAHTMMM 10-13-2004 01:29 AM

Oh, I do. ;) Or at least my English keyboard does

Nic Corelli 10-13-2004 01:37 AM

Well... Using Babelfish probably isn`t very reliable...

Okay, you succeeded in completing the task, but no one else will! Ahahahahaha!

Hotaru 10-13-2004 01:42 AM

Erm, Nic:

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&as...cr%3DcountryCA

For reference it's the last name of the main character of SO:TTEOT

Nic Corelli 10-13-2004 01:53 AM

Um... Use it in a sentence, :P

Hotaru 10-13-2004 03:52 PM

Use it in a sentence? Alright.

"The main character of SO:TTEOT last name is Liengod."

Happy?
