For today's update, I've brought the main pages of our This Just In and Top 10 subsites up to date. Baby steps, people.

Kudos, Z. I'm reminded of that mincing tip-toe scurry that cartoon characters sometimes do to imply that they're "stealth walking," a tactic that inevitably fails because the soundtrack plays a distinctive note for each step. :)

Looking good, Z. ;)

Reread some of the top 10's, and couldn't help noticing #3 for "The Top 10 Christmas Presents for Enterprise Villains":

Is this one of those "life imitates parody" things?

Does sort of look that way, doesn't it?

What! Zeke's not dead!

Is this the longest he's ever gone without an update?

How far can he stretch the definition of soon?

Nate the Great 01-09-2008 01:11 AM

Keab, stop pressing the issue. Please. Unless, that is, you care to convince me that scaring away Zeke is a good idea.

Zeke 01-09-2008 05:24 AM

OMG I AM SCARED AWAY SCREW YOU ALL

(Not really. But thanks, Nate.)

Nate the Great 01-09-2008 11:38 AM

No prob. After all, when I was a newbie around here I stepped on more than a few toes. Consider it a public service to try to prevent the same from happening to anyone else.

Terribly sorry. I was attempting to display my pleasure at Zeke's return.

I fully understand his reasons for being absent and am glad that he is now able to return us.

Nate the Great 01-10-2008 04:49 PM

I'm hesitant to make a "aw man, you just jinxed us!" gag, so you can insert it at your leisure. :)

Kristina 01-10-2008 04:56 PM

No, no.

My screen saver at work says "EXPECTO PATRONUM!"; it's an absolute necessity. Enough said.

Welcome back, Zeke - and a somewhat belated Happy New Year to one and all! (If you look at it by elapsed percentage, it's still new.)

I like to do it by wearing hotpants. Or at least, making a fictional counterpart wear them, which is really the next best thing.
